WHY SO MUCH STRUGGLE WITH FOOD THESE DAYS?
Diet culture- a 70 billion dollar industry, social media, misinformation, food fads have stolen our self-trust. We no longer know what to eat, what to do with cravings, or how to determine what is even healthy.
Yet we just keep trying harder. Research is clear that the process of restricting food (aka dieting) is unsustainable. Your body and mind are designed to resist food deprivation in order to survive. If diets “worked," no one would ever have to go on a diet again. There is no perfect way to eat or lack of willpower, it's NOT your fault. You did not fail — diets fail you.
Many other factors contribute to our struggles with food and body. Some are within our control, like certain food patterns and behaviors. Others are out of our hands, such as genetics, socioeconomic factors, illness and more.
There is a way forward! We can give our bodies the care they deserve, no matter their size, shape or state of health. Through a weight inclusive, non-diet lens, informed by intuitive and mindful eating, you can end the internal conflict and discover the confidence and wisdom to nourish your body and obtain a healthy relationship with food.

As a registered Dietitian, Nutritionist I specialize in guiding individuals/families to develop a balanced way of eating. My clients learn to:
